Biography of speaker:

Jacob has been working in the United Arab Emirates for the past 27 years having worked in Aramco’s Ras Tanura refinery a year prior. He has worked at a Big 4 consultancy firm for over 18 ½ years and is currently working in the government sector. 

His key expertise lies in Strategy, Policy & Innovation; Centralizing and management of IT function across multiple countries; Cybersecurity; Setup and management of IT Shared Services; Migration to cloud-based solutions; Offshoring to third party; Virtualization; and Disaster Recovery. 

He holds several current certifications including CGEIT, CISSP, PMP, ITIL and including cloud certifications on Oracle, AWS, Azure and Microsoft where he is a Microsoft certified Azure Architect Expert. He also was spoken at several seminars and has been awarded several CIO and CISO awards in his career.
