Previously the PMI UAE Chapter was free to join. Why is there a fee now?

PMI UAE Chapter Chartered in 2014, the chapter has just started and engages all of the seven Emirates as part of its directive and plan. As part of the PMI Organization, we are required to charge a membership fee to registered members in order to serve the membership base with activities and events. Without your contribution we would not be able to facilitate a relationship to provide training events and arrange for speaking engagements. The PMI UAE Chapter is here to serve the members and we will be looking for your feedback to support the Board direction.

What Are the Benefits of PMI UAE Chapter?

Being a Chapter Member provides opportunity for you to earn PDUs, volunteer within the Chapter and expand your project management practitioner base.

How Will the Chapter Receive My Information?

After you have joined PMI and the UAE Chapter, the Chapter will receive an updated membership list and you will be automatically added to the mailing list special email announcements and for the chapter newsletter, which will keep you informed of all chapter meetings and sponsored events (http://www.pmiuae.org/).

I want to be a PMI UAE Chapter Member. How do I join?

In order to be a member of the PMI UAE Chapter you must first also be a member of the Project Management Institute. If you are not a member please follow the link and steps below to join PMI: (http://www.pmi.org/membership/become-a-member.aspx)

Select a membership type below and add it to your shopping cart (Select from Individual, Student, or Retiree membership types).
Checkout, Checkout to enter your information and purchase your membership.
Log In or Register, if you are not already logged in, log in or register to continue checking out.
Finish entering your information, Finish entering your personal and professional information.
During the registration you will be asked if you wish to join a local chapter, or you may search and find PMI UAE Chapter and add it to your checkout basket.)
