Brief overview of the Webinar:

Industry 4.0 is the digitization of the manufacturing sector. This webinar will give an introduction in Industry 4.0 and explain how it will transform the manufacturing industry around the world. We will learn how disruptive trends and new technologies drive the hype about the 4th Industrial Revolution. But we will also explore the historical roots of industrial revolutions and their meaning for economics and society. Iris will share some insights from her long career in Industry 4.0-projects.  She will talk about Industry 4.0 from a project manager´s perspective and explain why Industry 4.0 projects are very special compared to other digitalization projects.                                                                                                              

Biography of speaker:

Iris Meinl has more than 16 years of experience in Project Management and Digital Transformation. She is a certified PMP, certified PMI Business Analyst & certified PMI Agile Coach. Iris Meinl`s passion for Project Management, AI & Digital Transformation started in the early 2000s. After graduation in Computer Science in 2006 she started her successful consulting career in IT-Project Management for Digital Transformation. In 2008 Iris Meinl joined the founding phase of the 4^th Industrial Revolution in Germany as one of the 1^st women worldwide. During her career she supported companies world-wide in Digitalization of their Product Development Process. Her MBA in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship inspired her signature approach for a holistic and human-friendly Digital Transformation. In 2018 Iris founded her own consulting company in Dubai (UAE) to bring her rich experience from Germany to the Middle East. Additionally, she offers Project-Coaching and Training in Project Management and Digital Transformation.  Iris Meinl is the 1^st board member of the PMI Germany Chapter who lives permanently broad.
